Okay, this was just TOO CONFUSING:
Every now and then I use a heart on a chat channel on WoW. And people go "ZOMG HOW DO U DO THAT???"
There are several ways, but I usually use a modified version of the Character Map add-on, with an extra line for cute characters. It will make a button on your minimap (CM), and you click that to get a panel with various accented characters, along with cute stuff like hearts, musical notes, and so on. Just hit the right button while you have a chat input window open.

This is my jubling, iinx! She's named after my friend Xnii, who likes to drink as much as Jubjub and her spawn do!
She pulled the key from her pocket and glanced about. The guards were nowhere around, ordered off to another part of the dungeon. She turned the key in the lock and slipped into the nearly dark cell.
He was sleeping. Her eyes slowly traveled over the shadows of his nearly nude form. He was a magnificent speciment of the human race, even with his age and the scars of battle. She moved forward and stroked his scraggly beard.
He moaned softly as his eyes opened and he made out the dark silhouette of the female shape standing over him. "Kat..."
She shrugged off her courtly robes; she wore nothing beneath, and he drank in the sight of her beautiful body in the dim light as she climbed atop him. "Reggie..." she murmured back to him, pulling off the ragged shorts that were the only thing he wore.
He grunted and rolled over on top of her, and she let him pin her to the hard stone floor of the cell. "Oh, yes, seize me! Seize me, you worthless criminal!" she groaned as he did as she requested. They moved together as one on the rocky ground.
He threw back his head and let out a roar of triumph. "As was fated a lifetime ago in Karazhan, monster, I come...I come! Ohh!" He collapsed on top of her, and they held each other for hours, until she slipped away, retrieved her robe, left the cell, and locked it once more.
